Mobile World Congress 2016
The exciting and always surprising Mobile World Congress is coming to Barcelona once again. The place where mobile leaders gather, collaborate and conduct business. The congress will begin Monday 22th February and continue through Thursday, 25th February. It will takes place at two venues, Fira Gran Via and Fira Montjuic.
The last edition in 2015 had a record breaking, 94.000 attendees from 200 countries and was covered by more tan 3.800 members of the international press and media. Several pavilions highlighted important initiatives benefiting the industry, such as Mobile apps, cloud or Green technology. Attendees confirmed that they could do more business in four days that they can do in months, that is why the Mobile World Congress is a MUST for everyone in mobile industry.
MWC 2016 will feature a conferences program offered by CEO’s of leading companies in mobile industry. Besides, there will be more tan 50 sessions where other topics will be discussed, such as Enterprise mobility, 5G, emerging markets or the Internet of things (IoT), among others.
The Mobile World Congress will features the leading products and services, from handsets and devices to network infrastructure. Some of the exhibitors include Alcatel-lucent, Ericsson, Google, Huawei or Samsung.
New at this year’s congress: The MWC tours Programme
Tours programme consists on different venues where matter experts will give insights in key industry focus such as 5G, the IoT or the Media, depending on audiences needs. The Orientation tours are webinar-based virtual tours to help the assistant to find the venue, exhibit and program that suit their needs and interests.
